All of the products bring positivity, support or encouragement into the life of a RCMP family. There can be a lot of negativity in this career and sometimes the negativity is reality but we hope by addressing it in a positive way, it will add some light to the darkness.

A RCMP family goes beyond the immediate member’s family. It includes their extended families and close friends whose lives have been touched by the mountie life. It allows everyone to have support and it brings everyone closer together when you feel so far apart.  

All Blue North Co. products have a modern and minimal design style relating to the life of a RCMP family but in a subtle way. The average person might not know what it means but you do and it will be up to you if you want to share it with them or not.

 

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

MY MOUNTIE LIFE STORY

Hi, I’m Sarah, the founder of Blue North Co. My husband is a RCMP member and we have a beautiful daughter and angel baby that fills our hearts with light. 

I am new to the RCMP family but since the day my husband went to Depot, it was clear that my life will be forever changing. It was never my dream to join the RCMP family but I agreed to support and accept the sacrifices that came with our new life. I look at it as a family career not his career. This helped tremendously when dealing with all the changes such as moving across the country, being away from close family and friends, being the cheerleader on the sideline and also taking a step back from my career. 

I’m not a veteran when it comes to this life and I definitely don’t have all the answers but one thing that I do know is that we need to support one another. This life comes with a lot of shadows, a lot of fear, a lot of change and a lot unknowns. Having a community that you know supports you and your family brings light to the darkness.

My mountie life story started when my husband left for Depot. During those 6 months I was always looking for ways to bring us closer and to remind each other how much we love and support one another. One way was to send gifts. I would search for something meaningful in stores and online but nothing felt right I was faced with the same issue when we moved away from close family and friends. I was constantly looking for a way to bring us closer together no matter the distance. I stopped searching and started creating. I hope the products that I create will make you and your loved ones heart’s smile and remind each other that distance is not a measurement for love.
